Other Requirements & Restrictions

Axle spacing report: Required for overweight permits (to determine how weight is distributed over axles and whether bridges/roads will handle the load). 

Vehicle/Load markings: Oversize loads must display “OVERSIZE LOAD” signs, flags, lights, etc. 

Escort/Pilot vehicles: May be required under certain conditions (very wide, very long, over some thresholds). 

Time/day restrictions: Some holidays, curfew or commute hours restrict OS/OW travel.
