1.1 You operate a commercial vehicle over 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight and travel in 2 or more jurisdictions.
1.2 Or you have a vehicle with 3 or more axles, regardless of weight, and you use it in more than one jurisdiction.
1.3 Or a vehicle combination (e.g. tractor + trailer) whose combined GVW is over 26,000 lbs.
2.Vehicles exempt include:
2.1 Vehicles using restricted farm plates
2.2 Government‑owned vehicles
2.3 School buses (some conditions) or certain non‑commercial usage.
